Photography has been a passion for me since I was a child. I am self-taught in photographic techniques and digital design, constantly experimenting with artistic effects to produce images that are exciting, beautiful and original.
Initially I used the female form as my chosen subject for design tutorials, taking photos of nudes to teach myself new design techniques. I had no intention of turning this into a commercial enterprise at that time but the overwhelming positive feedback I received gave me the confidence to take this project further.
Since that time word of mouth has guaranteed me a list of clients keen to treat themselves to something a bit unique, brave, special and of course very flattering!
Spurred on by this demand, I have recently launched Liberty Photography in addition to my more conventional family photography - see www.janelancashire.co.uk.
My ‘experiences’ are often purchased as original and thoughtful Valentines, Anniversary and Birthday gifts for partners, or other times women have just come to me to give themselves a bit of a boost.
It is such rewarding work, celebrating the natural, feminine curves and reminding women how beautiful they are. The creative journeys I share with clients make this a particularly enjoyable type of photography.
Clients will find that even if they have some reservations about removing their clothes, this passes almost immediately and almost everyone has commented on how liberating the experience is.
There is no need to get undressed completely if you are uncomfortable about this. We can work with fabric, jewellery and accessories, covering up as much or as little as you wish.
I hope you will feel inspired by my work, do look through some of the photos I have selected for my gallery. And, if you would like to see yourself as a work of art, do get in touch. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
